TCA Tilt-Up Achievement Award 2015 – 1269 Commerce Way, Woodstock ON
The building is multi-tenanted, and the design reflects unique architectures for each suite. This promoted the creation of three unique frontages, and allowed the design builder to employ three different Tilt-Up solutions. The first tenant (the design builder) had the concrete take on a balancing act with the leading edge pushed beyond the building foot print. Additional form liners were used on the side and rear elevations, and the interior spaces to show clients the many options available for their own projects.

Ontario Concrete Awards 2010 – Algoma Orchards, Newcastle ON
When it came time to build a new facility Algoma went straight to their trusted general contractor Johnson Building and his preferred method of construction, tilt-up. Using load bearing tilt-up allowed them to achieve a durable product that also maximized the interior square footage by eliminating bulky interior columns. The exterior of the building was completed using a painted finish and cultured stone applied to the market area. Since construction commenced on this project in 2008 3 more tilt-up additions have been made.
